Tinsel Town, Cary NC

I recently went to Cary NC to do an event called Tinsel Town. Its so cool!. The event took place at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre which has an outdoor Ice Skating rink. We arrived the day after Thanksgiving. It was nice to see everyone there with their extended families (grandparents, aunts ect that had come into town for the holidays) unfortunate, they were not interested in purchasing cookbooks from me or products from any vendor. Me and my helpful son Christian did the event. (check out the rosy cheeks, It was cold) We had a good time spending the weekend together. We visited the Raleigh Museum of Natural Sciences before the event started on the second day and took some pictures with some old dinosaurs, but Ill post them later.

Lunch for a Rabbit. Well not really. I snapped this the other day.
Usually its my kids who use the laptop lunch system. But I used it 2 days in a row and liked it. Includes: Romaine, cucumbers, banana peppers, carrots, dole orange gel cup + ranch.

Your a cookbook salesperson!

Maybe a carry along thermos of warm hot cocoa in a throw away cup for $.50 - $1.00 would have attracted them to your table. A little cookie for $.25 might also might enhance the mood for a cookbook.

I found when I sold goods at various christmas shows the money from these little kind of goods made it worthwhile.
