Pumpkin?
This past winter I dug a hole and planted a pumpkin left over from Thanksgiving. This has come up. I know nothing about growing pumpkins. Is this the start of a pumpkin patch?

This is definitiely the beginning of a pumpkin patch... you buried the whole pumpkin? LOL
I love pumpkin, squash, sweet potatoes... orange peppers :) yum!
