I recently went to Cary NC to do an event called Tinsel Town. Its so cool!. The event took place at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre which has an outdoor Ice Skating rink. We arrived the day after Thanksgiving. I wish I had read the warning at Eat Peace Please about the difference between the plain and the southwest. I drove two hours to the Whole Foods Market in Cary Nc and picked up a box among other items still not available in my area. Lets just say I eat the outer edges only. No middle of the burger for me. Beaufort SC is a beautiful seaside town. This is a post card I bought of the house used in the film "The Great Santini". It was the locale for the filming of "The Big Chill" as well. I remember seeing this house as a child but was to busy this trip to visit. If you look closely you can see the ocean in the background.Next to Charleston, Beaufort is the 2nd oldest town in South Carolina.

We took a trip to Beaufort SC this weekend for a wedding. The original flower girl was sick so they asked my daughter to step in. I have known the groom since I was 5 so It made it quite special for us. She had her first experience in a limo, but this is her 2nd time as flower girl.
